SAVANNAH Georgia (November 17, 2012) — Presidents’ Quarters Inn will be one of six historic inns featured on the 38th Annual Downtown Savannah Holiday Tour of Homes — Sunday, December 9, 2012 (12:30 –  4 p.m.).

At Presidents’ Quarters the 2012 HOLIDAY TOUR OF INNS’s visitors will enjoy finger desserts and holiday beverages, and see traditional southern holiday trimmings, including custom Christmas mantles and staircases original to the historic townhomes (circa 1855).

Our special guest will be Pat Branning, author of “Shrimp, Collards and Grits“, who will be signing her popular cookbooks for personal kitchen collections and last-minute Christmas gifts.

SAVANNAH, Georgia (November 8, 2012) — Presidents’ Quarters Inn will join hundreds of inns and B&Bs throughout the U.S. and Canada in honoring active and retired veterans with free rooms in recognition of Veteran’s Day.  In a campaign called B&Bs for Vets, Presidents’ Quarters Inn will join inns and B&Bs in opening their doors with complimentary stays for vets on November 11, 2012 so they can have a great night’s sleep in a B&B. Presidents’ Quarters Inn offered three complimentary rooms, which were reserved within 24-hours of posting.

“We are proud to join innkeepers across the USA and Canada in honoring active and retired military and veterans by offering a few complimentary rooms,” said Jane Sales, executive innkeeper. “We are thrilled that thousands of vets and their families will spend Veteran’s Day in a welcoming B&B, like ours.  It’s one small way we can thank those serving in the military and their families for the important work they do,” Jane stated.
